Mission Statement
Mission Statement Spidell Publishing, Inc., has been a critical source of California tax information for tax professionals since 1975. We promote ideas, references, solutions, and guidance, plus news and commentary covering all aspects of tax and its administration. We advocate fairness in taxation. Who we are Spidell Publishing is a California corporation. Our president, Lynn Freer, is an enrolled agent who sold her tax practice to work for and subsequently acquire Spidell Publishing, Inc. from the founder, Robert Spidell. Our editorial staff is comprised of tax professionals with in-the-trenches experience. Two of the four editorial staff still prepare returns and work in the industry along with their full-time occupations. Our speakers are all practicing CPAs, enrolled agents, and attorneys. We are proud to have Gina Rodriquez, EA, as Sacramento editor. Gina’s primary function is to cover the legislative arena and interface with FTB, BOE, and EDD officials to not only report on, but influence tax policies and procedures.
