New EDD Tax Branch deputy director named
After a six month search, Jack Budmark has been named as the EDD’s deputy director of the Tax Branch. Jack has been with the EDD for more than 30 years, most recently as Chief of the Tax Processing and Accounting Division within Tax Branch. Prior to that, he served in a variety of leadership positions in Tax Branch, as well as Fiscal Programs Division. Jack’s appointment took effect on July 1, 2008. He replaces Bob Affleck, who retired in December 2007, after seven years with the EDD.
