El Dorado added to property tax relief list
Effective February 15, 2010, and remaining in effect for five years, El Dorado County is added to the list of counties that allow intercounty base-year transfers under R&TC §69.5 for persons aged 55 and over (Proposition 90) or severely permanently disabled (Proposition 110).
The counties that allow relief under R&TC §69.5 now include: Alameda, El Dorado, Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Ventura Counties. (California State Board of Equalization Letter to Assessors 2010/002, January 11, 2010)
