New EZ hiring credit applications
Beginning January 1, 2008, employers must use the California’s Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) State’s Voucher Application (SVA) when applying for a hiring tax credit with an enterprise zone. Also, employers must attach to the SVA an Income Verification Worksheet for each employee who qualifies as an Economically Disadvantaged Individual 14 years of age or older.
