Haitian contribution conformity

If enacted, AB 347 (Bass) would conform California law to the federal election to deduct cash contributions to Haitian earthquake relief on the 2009 return, rather than the 2010 return. Taxpayers may make a separate election for state and federal purposes.

The bill has passed the full Assembly and is awaiting action by the Senate.
