Wayne Otchis, CPA

Wayne has been a CPA in California since 1971 and is a member of the California Society of CPAs. His practice emphasizes individual tax return preparation and he has prepared over 500 returns annually for approximately 35 years. He has been a regular speaker for Spidell Publishing for over 10 years and presents the Federal section of Spidell’s 2010/2011 Federal and California Tax Update Seminar.

Steve is a sole practitioner whose practice emphasizes small business accounting and income tax. Steve was also an instructor at Los Angeles Valley College for 15 years. Renee Rodda

Renée Rodda, J.D.

Renée is editor of Spidell’s California Taxletter® and associate editor of Spidell’s Elder Client Planner newsletter. Renée lectures extensively on tax issues that impact aging Americans. She has authored “Overview of Medicare and Medicaid/Medi-Cal Rules,” as well as self-study courses, including an EA ethics course. She is a graduate of Chapman School of Law with a Tax Law Emphasis. Renée will be speaking at Spidell’s 2010/2011 Federal and California Tax Update Seminar.

Gina Rodriquez

Gina Rodriquez, EA

Gina is the Sacramento editor for Spidell Publishing. Gina works with legislators and tax agency personnel to keep tax professionals informed about legislation and procedures. Gina is the expert on FTB policy and procedures and provides legislative analysis that is available in Spidell’s Online Research Package. She has a Bachelor of Science in business administration (accounting) from California State University, Sacramento, and a Master of Science in taxation from Golden Gate University.

Tim Hilger, CPA

Tim is associate editor of Spidell’s California Taxletter® and editor of Spidell’s Analysis & Explanation of California Taxes™ and Spidell’s Elder Client Planner. Tim presented Spidell’s “Taxation of foreclosures: New laws, old problems” audio conference. He has authored innumerable articles, reports, and self-studies on tax, financial and accounting matters. He has a Bachelor of Science in business administration (accounting) from California State University, Long Beach and a Master of Science in taxation from Golden Gate University.

Wendy Lieb

Wendy Lieb, EA

Wendy has been a lecturer and convention speaker since 1976, gaining national prominence in the taxation and estate and trust fields. Her hands-on approach wins her top marks from attendees. In addition, Wendy’s practice is predominantly related to individual and fiduciary returns. She also works closely with several estate-planning and probate attorneys. Wendy will be speaking at Spidell’s 2010/2011 Federal and California Tax Update Seminar.

Thomas

Thomas Noce, CPA

Tom Noce is a graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in accounting. He holds a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from UC Riverside and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. Tom’s professional experience includes a variety of clients, including tribal entities, hotels, real estate, construction, homeowners associations, country clubs, nonprofit organizations and others. In addition to his tax and accounting practice, he also performs special engagements dealing with internal controls and fraud prevention and detection. He has authored and taught numerous accounting, auditing, and fraud courses.

Robert Manton

Robert Manton, CPA

Robert is a partner with the firm McNally & Manton, CPAs Inc., serving the Orange County and Los Angeles areas for over 35 years. Estate and trust taxation has been his niche and specialty for over 20 years. He teaches estate and trust seminars, including in-house programs for large firms. He is known for his to-the-point speaking style and his ability to provide practical solutions to everyday situations. Robert will be speaking at Spidell’s 2010 Estate and Trust Seminar.

Arturo Ramudo, CPA, CISA

Art Ramudo is a former Board of Accountancy investigator, a nationally recognized public speaker, researcher, and seminar leader with almost 25 years of experience in ethics, standards of practice, and internal quality control. Art owns and operates his own public accountancy firm offering services to both the public and private sectors. He represents CPAs before the California Board of Accountancy’s disciplinary committee, provides litigation support, performs peer reviews, and offers advisory services concerning all aspects of ethical practice. Art will be speaking at Spidell’s 4-hour CPA Ethics Course.
