Renew MyFTB clients now

When renewing clients in your MyFTB account, you must begin the process prior to 10 business days before access to that client expires. We previously reported that you could renew any time up to the date they expired. However, we were incorrect, and you must start the process more than 10 business days from expiration. If you miss this window, you must start over and enter the client as a new client.

When counting the 10 business days, be sure to consider state holidays as well as weekends. To be on the safe side, we suggest starting the process at least three weeks prior to the expiration date.
