Client only income is disability pension from CA, rental income from properties in Texas, he moved from TX to Louisiana bought a house there and lived there from 2/19 and sold 11/19 no gain on the house, no income from LA, moved to Idaho 11/19 bought a house and this will be his permanent residence no income from Idaho.
Federal filing O K only filed CA as non resident because of form 3840 for 2018.
Do I need to file a state return for LA even if there was not income from LA same goes for Idaho no income, all the income he receives is from his rentals in Texas.
Or do the same filing as I did in 2018?
      Thanks
      Marco

TX doesn’t have an individual income tax. You would have to look at the filing requirements for LA and ID. Many states base filing requirement on IRS filing requirement.
