not sure if I completed form 3849 correctly, T/P receiving a refund from it
View More Details1095 A Marketplace statement put on IRS form8962 shows a liability of $3664. That one i know is correct. New form CA 3849 - creates a refund of $2553. I feel I went wrong somewhere with all their columns and pages of instructions! Anyone having problems or solutions for this form?

It is possible to have a CA refund and a federal balance due because CA allows up to 600% of household income and federal only allows 400%. That said the new bill, which should be passed by the end of the week could decrease the amount to be paid on federal. Don't file return until the bill passes and your software is updated.
