  • Understand the delays and confusion of IRS operations during COVID-19
  • Learn the difference between Summary Assessment Notices, notices that propose additional tax, and collection notices
  • Figure out when to ask the Taxpayer Advocate Service to intervene and understand when TAS is limited in ability to intervene

  • CP 11, the IRS made changes to your return (now you figure out why)
  • CP 14, the first and most common notice sent to taxpayers

Any exams submitted before 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, October 29 will be reported the same day. Any courses completed after that time will not be reported until Monday, November 1, 2021.
