Spidell Webinar FAQs
How does registration work?
What are the requirements for listening to a Spidell
Webinar?
You must have the ability to connect to high-speed
Internet, have a recent version of Adobe Flash Player (13.0 or later) installed, and have computer speakers. Phone-based audio connections are not supported.
Versions of Windows that are supported for an optimum webinar viewing experience include Windows 7, and Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10. To check which version of Windows you have, right click on “My Computer” (or “Computer”) and click “Properties.”
What should I expect when registering for a Spidell
Webinar?
Approximately one week prior to the webinar
date, Spidell will send you an e-mail requesting that you test your
system in preparation for the webinar. Remember to do the system test on the computer that will be used during the webinar.
(Additional CPE recipients
will not receive this notice; it is only sent to the person ordering
the live presentation).
The day before the webinar, Spidell
will send you an e-mail containing the links to test your system if
you have not already done so, a link to the webinar materials, and
the instructions for logging into the webinar.
Additional CPE
recipients will receive an e-mail once the webinar is completed with
instructions for logging into our self-study website and completing
a short exam to receive their continuing education credit. These attendees must watch the webinar from the main attendee's computer. Additional CPE attendees will not receive a link to the live webinar.
How do I register employees for the additional
CPE?
You can order additional CPE attendees by contacting our customer service department at (714) 776-7850. Remember that additional CPE attendees will not receive a link to access the live webinar and must watch the webinar from the main attendee's computer.
What is additional CPE?
Additional CPE can be purchased for additional attendees in the same office who will be able to watch the webinar on the same computer as the main attendee. These attendees must take an exam to receive credit and will not receive their own join link or materials link. The main attendee is free to forward a copy of the materials and PowerPoint to any additional CPE attendees.
When should I log in to the webinar?
Following the JOIN LINK in the instruction e-mail you received the day before, you can log in to view the webinar up to 30 minutes before the webinar begins.
What happens when the presentation is over?
We keep the webinar session open after the presentation is completed in case you have any delays based on your internet connection.
What if I have a question about the
webinar?
You will have the ability to send a message to a host or presenter in the webinar application. If your question does not get answered during the presentation, our speakers will do their best to follow up after the presentation.
How do I get my CPE or Credit from the
presentation?
If you are the initial registrant and were the person logged in to the session, you will answer the polling questions throughout the presentation. The polling questions verify that you are present during the presentation and, as long as you answer 75% of them, your credit will be given based on the live presentation. Your certificate of completion will be sent to you by e-mail within 24 hours of the presentation.
If you are an additional CPE registrant, you will need to take a
short exam once the presentation has concluded to receive your
certificate of completion. The test will be accessed and completed
through our online SpidellCPE website and your certificate will be
available once you have passed the exam.
What do I get when I register for a
webinar?
You receive access to the live webinar presentation and you have the ability to allow others to watch and listen with you on one computer. You also get CPE credit. To receive CPE credit, you must answer 75% of the polling questions throughout the presentation. If you fail to answer enough questions, you will be sent a short exam to take shortly after the webinar ends.
Additional CPE recipients must complete the online exam once the presentation is over to receive credit. These attendees must watch the webinar from the main attendee's computer and will not receive a link to the live webinar.
What do I get when I register for an on-demand
webinar?
You receive access to a recording of the webinar that you may watch at your convenience, 24/7. You also get CPE credit. To receive CPE credit, you must complete the online exam once you have finished watching the webinar. You have one year from the date of purchase to complete your exam and receive CPE credit.
